Like your photograph is your identity, same way the identity of any of the company or organization is its logo. A logo is a graphical element that, together with its logotype form a trademark or commercial brand. Typically, a logo's design is for immediate recognition. The logo is one aspect of a company's commercial brand, or economic or academic entity, and its shapes, colors, fonts, and images usually are different from others in a similar market. Logos are also used to identify organizations and other non-commercial entities. The graphic elements can be ideogram, symbol, emblem, icon, sign. Logotype is a uniquely set and arranged typeface.

Most of the companies cooperation, products, services, agencies and other entities in todays world are using an ideogram, sign, icon or an emblem, symbol or a combination of sign and emblem as a logo. Because of the availibilty of many companies, several logos has appeared. It becomes very difficult for us to recognise al the logos as with what company it is related. So, writing the name of the company with the logo is very important. Now a days usage of both logo and name of the company is in fashion. Actually usage of idiogram as a logo, even with the name is sensible as people could duly identify the name instead of the suporting graphic portion is in as it makes it unique by its letters, colors and additional graphic elements.

Icons are more effective than name as in different countries and different regions, different languages are used. So, a person who is unaware of urdu would not be able to read and understand the icon. So, the use of making it famous comes to an end. Even many countries own the logos. The use of logos to the countries is for marketing and publicity. Also color plays very important role in logo as color can be the brand recognisition factor. If color plays good role than also it can destroy the interest, if wrong choice is made. Choice of good color and color combination should be done intelligently. Color is also useful for linking certain types of products with a brand. Warm colors (red, orange, yellow) are linked to hot food and thus can be seen integrated into many fast food logos. Conversely, cool colors (blue, purple) are associated with lightness and weightlessness, thus many diet products have a light blue integrated into the logo.

Logo designing is very important aspect for the recognition of the company. As we all can realize that logo is the thing which is required for the recognition of any of the company.So this field should not be neglected…….
